Epernay Civic Association encourages neighbors to participate in the annual neighborhood garage sale. The idea of having a neighborhood garage sale is to draw more traffic to the neighborhood so that residents can have a more successful garage sale than if they did it on their own on a random day.
Why should I participate?
Because you’ll get rid of stuff you don’t use or need! Because you’ll turn your junk into cash! Because neighborhood garage sales are exciting! But furthermore, having such activities helps bring our community together for fun and friendly socializing. Participating allows your neighbors to get to know you better and for our development to build a sense of community. It’s all around fun!
Who can have a garage sale?
Do you live in the Epernay subdivision? Do you have a garage, driveway, or front yard at your home? Do you have junk you want to get rid of? Do you want to earn some extra cash? Then participate!
How do I participate in the neighborhood garage sale?
It’s simple. Gather all of the junk in your house that you want to get rid of; set it up neatly in your garage, on your driveway, or in your yard; and wait for people to come give you money for your stuff! There’s no registration to participate or anything silly like that, just sell your stuff! But seriously, if you still have no idea how to do a garage sale, visit this how-to page.
What are the dates/times?
The Epernay Community Garage Sale will take place Saturday June 3, 2017. The official community garage sale will begin at 10am and go until 3pm. Obviously residents are more than welcome to set up earlier and/or pack up later.
